Rules every number follows
- n and a range on every numberEach share says how many answers it rests on and the 95% range it most likely sits in.
- Null is never zeroWhen we don't know, the page says so. A blank is a blank, not a 0%.
- Method versionsEvery series names the method that made it. When a rule changes the meaning of a number, the version changes.
- Dated pagesEach month gets its own page with its run date and method, kept as a record. The record builds up month by month; nobody can backfill it later.
Why this is hard to do yourself
- AI answers change from one run to the next. One screenshot proves nothing; a share only means something with enough answers behind it.
- Anyone can put GPTBot in a user agent. Telling the real agent from the costume takes the vendors' own published lists, kept fresh.
- Most traffic to a free tool is machines. Counting real use means separating bots, monitors and our own probes before anything is published.
